KENNEBUNK — Chiropractor Clifford L. Faldman’s license to practice was reactivated on August 27 following 210 days of suspension stemming from charges of inappropriately touching patients. Despite that, his legal woes are not over, as he faces additional charges both by local police and state licensing officials.

Just last week, Faldman’s lawyer entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf in Biddeford District Court to his June 2 charges of violating a protection order.

Kennebunk Police say they charged Faldman after receiving a complaint in reference to his behavior.

Faldman, 55, has a history of complaints against him by patients.

His chiropractic license was suspended for 180 days, plus an additional 30 days earlier this year, said Doug Dunbar, from the Maine State Office of Licensing and Registration.

According to Dunbar, while Faldman’s license is currently active, that could change.

"Two more complaints were received during the 180-day suspension," he said.
